Fishing Competition in aid of The Stroke Association NI

The inaugural Tildarg Fishery Competition - for the Tom McBurney Perpetual Cup - and in aid of The Stroke Association NI will take place on Sunday 5th September.

Those participating in this special event are asked to raise a minimum of £40 sponsorship (including a £10 registration fee).

Prizes include £150 for the heaviest bag, and £75 for the heaviest fish (not to be included in the heaviest bag), with a special prize for the top fundraiser.

‘Walk With Me’ Promenade Walk - Sunday 26th September  2010

On Sunday 26th September, members of The Stroke Association NI are encouraging people from throughout County Down to ‘Walk With Me’ on a leisurely Walk along the Promenade in Newcastle in support of The Association’s work in Northern Ireland.

Registration is only £10 per adult and £5 per child, and there is no sponsorship required!

Step out in the Sperrins Walks - Sunday 3rd October 2010

On Sunday 3rd October, Cookstown District Council will again be promoting 3 walks - ranging in distance and difficulty - to support healthy lifestyles and the work of The Stroke Association NI.

Sign up for the Belfast City Marathon!

Would you like to run or walk in the Belfast City Marathon in support of Stroke?

2011’s Belfast City Marathon takes place on Monday 2nd May.  The event - now in its 30th year - features a Team Relay Race, Fun Run, and Walk, as well as the 26-mile Marathon Run.

The Stroke Association NI is encouraging people to participate in one of the Marathon’s event, getting fit and raising much-needed funds at the same time.
